Art Ocain, an expert in artificial intelligence and deep learning, summed it up well when he called AI "the new electricity." In stating so, he expressed his view that artificial intelligence (AI) will soon power the majority of human actions in society and industry, significantly altering how we work and live.

Learning how AI works and understanding its consequences for our lives, he believes, is at least as vital as learning to read and write. In other words, he recognises that we are now entering an era of AI, and it is critical to understand as much as possible about it as soon as possible.
